Marcus Malone was originally signed out of Detroit, Michigan by Al Teller of United Artists Records - now EMI Capitol. Taking up residence in Los Angeles he recorded two albums, one being the classic "MARCUS" album re-released throughout Europe in 2001. He has appeared at the Royal Albert Hall ­ opening up for BB King; the Colne Blues Festival ­ International Stage; Burnley Blues Festival opening for Sam McClain; Wilbartson - Loud Promotions, opening for Walter Trout; Warners Hayling Island Blues Festival; and headlined various art centers and blues clubs around the UK. In July 2001 he will be performing at the 2 day Bospop Festival in Holland along side Walter Trout, the Black Crowes, Megadeth: and the Mayfest Festival, UK - opening for Otis Grand. Marcus has written, produced and recorded his album "One More Time" which is released on Redline Music label distributed by RMG/Universal. The title song "One More Time" is featured on 'Blueprint 99 ­The Best of The British Blues' album. Marcus is presently working with some of the UK's finest musicians including Sam Kelly - UK Blues drummer of the Year 2000, Papa George with his National Steel guitar and the incomparable Otis Grand - recording and producing his second album on the Redline Music label - 'Blue Radio'- to be released in the fall of 2001.
